Introducing The Plants Project Artificial Areca Palm. This tree has two size options ranging from 120cm - 150cm in height, so you can effortlessly add greenery to any space. 

The Areca Palm has large feathered leaves which are fine and fan out beautifully. Originally from the islands of Southeast Asia, this tropical beauty is so relaxing you’ll almost feel like you’re on an island holiday. While a real Areca Palm is notoriously hard to keep alive indoors, this faux option brings the outside beauty in.  

Our UV-protected Artificial Areca Palm is designed for outdoor use, adding lasting greenery to patios, balconies, or garden areas. With durable, sun-resistant leaves and lifelike details, it offers year-round vibrancy without fading or upkeep.

As with many tall artificial trees, corners always work well! It's certainly a feature tree so make sure it goes in a lovely pot where people can see it! Our favourite is Medium or Large Honey Pots.

The approximate size of these trees are 20cm in width and 120cm in length for the small size and 90cm in width and 150cm in length for the large size.

Shipping Costs

Whilst we understand the desire for free shipping, given the size and weight of many of our products, we've found it necessary to pass on a small portion of the shipping costs to customers, but strive to keep these charges as reasonable as possible. Shipping might total around $30 - $100 depending on how many items you are purchasing, this helps cover the costs associated with specialised handling and transportation. You can easily calculate the shipping cost for your order at checkout. We appreciate your understanding as we strive to provide the best possible shipping experience for all our customers.

Shipping Method

We use a courier service for our items which has proved to be the quickest way to do deliver your items. We offer Australia-wide delivery to the address provided during checkout, please note we cannot ship to PO boxes or parcel lockers. 

Returns

We want to make sure you LOVE your new purchase. If you're unhappy in any way, please reach out to us. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. We must be notified of a return within 7 days of delivery and the returns for exchange or refund must be received within 14 days of delivery and are subject to approval. Return shipping costs must be paid by the purchaser.

No, while each of our trees are potted into a garden pot with a stabilised base, all decorative pots are sold separately. To ensure you can select the ideal pot for your pot that suits your style we have a curated range also available on our website. How do I clean and maintain my Areca Palm Tree?

While cleaning your artificial Areca Palm Tree is designed to need very little upkeep, some basic maintenance can help it remain fresh and vibrant looking. Typically, this just means dusting the leaves using either a cloth or wiping them down with some warm soapy water, being careful not to saturate the plant. If using water, you can either leave your plant to air dry or polish the leaves dry with a fresh cloth.Additionally, this plant's hardiness allows it to withstand light scrubbing to remove any dust, which helps maintain its pristine condition over time.

Is the Areca Palm Tree Suitable for indoor or outdoor use?

The Areca Palm Tree is a member of our UV protected range, meaning it is designed for outdoor use and can withstand damage caused by UV rays and exposure to weather.  There are no guarantees for the longevity of this product however it is designed to last longer than a regular indoor product.
