Send a picture of the pot, with dimensions and information about the space it’s in and anything you like the look of to hello@theplantsproject.com.au and we will offer suggestions.
We may be able to offer a discount on the order or exchange the item. If you wish to exchange we will arrange for a courier to come and collect the item and upon receipt send out a replacement.
Yes, bark / mulch is fine to add to the pot, it’s what we use as a preference.
We do recommend the Half Moon Planters for live plants. But please note that this item does not have drainage holes and is not sealed. You will need to line the planter with a garbage bag in order to prevent leakage, you will also need to be careful of over watering since excess water will not drain out.
Yes you can. The stem is secured into the pot with a plaster mix so you will likely need to use a hammer or something sharp to chip away at it, but it can be done.
Please ensure you are in a safe environment when attempting to remove the pot.
Yes you can cut the stem, but normal kitchen scissors won’t do it unfortunately as it’s very sturdy. You’ll need to use something pretty sharp like wire cutters or something similarly sharp, please be in a safe environment when cutting the stem.
We don’t offer custom orders apart from our Greenery Designs. However there is always the chance that something is currently sold out and not on the website, so please ask just in case we are expecting it back in stock soon, or we are able to source an item for you.
The artificial plants are made of polyester plastic, however they have not been tested. But being plastic they do not emit any smell and only non-toxic dyes are used.
Generally there aren’t any artificial plants made out of fabric, most would have been made out of some sort of plastic.
They are made of a polyester plastic.

Please let us know as soon as possible and we will chase it up for you.
Please let us know as soon as possible and we will chase it up for you.
Yes we will, but please ensure this is a business that has regular office hours, like Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm or has a safe place for the parcel to be left should it be delivered outside of the office hours.
As we use an external courier service we cannot guarantee delivery dates. However if you are in Metro Melbourne we may be able to have a staff member hand deliver it for you, but this is not guaranteed.
This can happen, especially when the boxes are different sizes, please check tracking to make sure it’s still en route and allow a couple of days for the other delivery to be completed. If there is an issue with the tracking or it’s been a while between deliveries please contact us as soon as possible and we will follow up with the courier.
