Our Sadie Pot was designed for indoor styling alongside an artificial plant, so it doesn’t come equipped with drainage holes. This design protects against water leaks or soil runoff if you do want to use it with an authentic pot, but you would still need to insert a plastic liner for a foolproof solution. Alternatively, you could keep your authentic plant in a plastic nursery pot and utilise our Sadie Pot as the decorative holder. You can hang it without worry or place it on a high shelf, confident that you won’t have a mess to clean up.
